Summer volunteer opportunities will be available during the library's Summer Reading Program running June 2 - August 1.

Volunteers will help by handing out prizes and program booklets to other teen readers, answering questions about the program, supporting children's programs (like the End of Summer Celebration), and completing other craft related tasks.

Interested students should be:

• Entering 7th-12th grade
• Able to commit to at least five, 1 hour shifts throughout the summer.
• Able to communicate effectively and be excited about supporting reading over the summer!

How to Apply:

1. Register for ONE teen volunteer orientation session.
2. Attend your in-person orientation to schedule and sign up for volunteer shifts.
3. Turn in a volunteer waiver (handed out at orientation).

Attendance is mandatory at one volunteer orientation session for all teens who want to volunteer during the Summer Reading Program. Orientations will meet in the Teen Room on the 4th floor of the Main Library. Parent attendance is encouraged but not required.
