Join us for an enlightening talk on the Roman Empire by Dr. Timothy Doran, Associate Professor of Ancient History at California State University, Los Angeles. This special event celebrates the release of Gladiator 2, delving into the rich history of ancient Rome in history and the movies. Dr. Doran will explore the captivating history of the Roman Empire, provide insights into how historical events are portrayed in Gladiator 2, and discuss recent archaeological discoveries about Rome.
Following the lecture, there will be a Q&A session where you can ask Dr. Doran your burning questions about Roman history.
